Natural, documentary wedding photography and films for English-speaking couples getting married in the South-West of France. Based in Occitanie, I work with couples planning destination weddings across Occitanie, Auvergne, and Aquitaine. My goal is to capture authentic, beautifully intimate moments that tell the story, convey the emotion, and reveal the unique magic of your day.
Hi! I’m Nico, and I am a wedding photographer based in the Occitanie region of South-West France, and I love working with English-speaking couples from the UK and the US who choose the Dordogne, Lot, Hérault, and other stunning destinations across the south of France for their wedding.
Whether you’re planning a château wedding in Dordogne, a countryside celebration in Lot, or an intimate gathering in Hérault, Occitanie, or the Aquitaine region, I offer a calm and discreet approach. From our first contact through to your wedding day, I provide clear communication in English, making the process smooth and stress-free.
Planning a wedding abroad can feel overwhelming, especially when choosing locations across the south of France. My role is to make the photography and film part feel simple, natural, and stress-free, so you can enjoy every moment of your special day.
My approach to wedding photography is natural and documentary, focused on capturing your day as it truly unfolds. I work discreetly, allowing real moments to happen while always being attentive and present. Your wedding is not a performance — it’s a day filled with connection, emotion, and meaning.
My goal is to capture not only how it looked, but how it felt, from the quiet moments to the shared energy with the people you love.
Many couples feel unsure in front of the camera. With experience and care, I know when gentle guidance is helpful and when it’s best to step back. You’ll feel supported throughout the day, free to be present, knowing everything is being documented thoughtfully.
The result is a collection of beautiful, authentic images that reflect your story, your people, and the atmosphere of your wedding in Southern France.
For couples who want both photography and film, we work as a small, two-person team — a couple who know each other perfectly and work effortlessly together. Our shared goal is simple: to create the most beautiful, authentic photos and films of your wedding.
Our approach to video is the same as photography — natural, documentary, and authentic. We stay present, capturing the emotions, connections, and atmosphere, preserving the story of your day as it truly unfolds.
Photography preserves the moments you’ll return to for years, while film brings them alive — the laughter, the movement, the energy, and the feelings that made your day unique. As a small, discreet team, we ensure you can be fully present, confident that every detail is being captured with care, sensitivity, and intention.
This approach is especially loved by UK and US couples planning destination weddings in France, who value a calm, unobtrusive, and deeply personal way of remembering their day.
Here are a few highlights from recent weddings photographed across South-West France. Some were captured through photography alone, while others include both photography and film — each telling its own unique story, capturing the emotions, connections, and atmosphere that make every day unforgettable.

Nico was the most wonderful videographer for our wedding in SW France. We weren’t initially sure on whether to hire a videographer, but we are SO glad we found Nico! From the very first meeting he made us feel comfortable and at ease - and that was exactly what we needed on our wedding day! Nico had a very easy and subtle way of not making you feel like he was recording - and he even shared ideas with us beforehand (such as writing a letter to each other and reading it to the camera before the ceremony, which made it very romantic!). The video he has created is the most wonderful and special video I have ever seen - Nico is a true artist and I cannot recommend him enough!! THANK YOU!!

We can never thank Nicolas enough for his generosity, kindness, and dedication throughout our wedding.
During the holiday season, he graciously traveled to Picardy, our home region, for our civil and secular ceremonies. The first video he made deeply moved us, as it did all our guests.
We then met up with him again in July in Rodez for the religious ceremony. Working alongside Leila, they captured the emotions of every moment and perfectly translated them into their photos and videos. Their discretion and warmth were universally appreciated by our guests.
The post-wedding photoshoot in the Aubrac region was the icing on the cake: an intimate and magical moment, resulting in breathtaking photos.
Today, their photos and videos are precious memories of this incredibly important moment in our lives, and we never tire of looking at them.
A huge thank you to you both. How lucky we were to have crossed paths with you!

We were fortunate to have Nicolas and Leila at our side to capture our wedding, and we couldn't have asked for anything better. From the very first conversation, their kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism gave us complete confidence.
On the big day, they were able to be discreet yet everywhere at once. Their collaboration and attention to detail allowed us to capture magical moments, genuine emotions, laughter, tears... Each photo, each video shot tells a story—our own—with incredible authenticity and sensitivity.
The result is simply breathtaking: sublime and natural photos, and a video that deeply moved us. Thanks to them, we can relive this unique day again and again, with the same sense of wonder.
A huge thank you to Nicolas and Leila for their remarkable work, their passion, and their positive energy. If you're looking for a talented, compassionate, and dedicated team, look no further: they're the best! 🙌
Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️
You’re an English-speaking couple from the UK or US organizing your wedding
You’re getting married in the south of France and want clear communication
You prefer natural moments over traditional posing
You want to actually enjoy your wedding day
If you’re looking for heavily posed wedding photography or videography, I may not be the right photographer or filmmaker — and that’s completely okay.
I regularly work with English-speaking couples planning their wedding from the UK or the United States.
I’ll help you with:
timelines that work with natural light and limit stress from the day
coordination with planners and other vendors
clear communication in English before and during the wedding
My goal is to make the photography and film part of your day feel effortless so you can focus on being present.
If my work resonates with you, I’d love to hear about your plans. Tell me where and when you’re getting married — whether it’s in Occitanie, Dordogne, Lot, Hérault, Aquitaine, or elsewhere in South-West France — and what matters most to you. I reply personally to every enquiry, and if you need anything, I’m here to help — my goal is to make sure you feel confident, relaxed, and able to truly enjoy your day.
